I can't believe it. Today is our fifth anniversary. We've certainly reached a new milestone, and I can think of no better way to honor it than by thinking back to five best moments of our lives together.
#5: Our Wedding
Where it all started. It was such a wonderful night. Quiet, private with only a few close family members and friends. Answering "I do" before the Emperor will always make me smile. It will forever be the happiest day of my life.
#4: The Honeymoon
Rest, relaxation, and meditation, need I say more? It was truly the vacation to top them all. I look forward to our next romantic get-a-way.
#3: Cesera
Who knew such frightening visions could lead us to our first treasure? It was truly a will of the Force that she found us when she did, and I'm so thankful for it. Our little girl has brought such joy into our lives, and taught us so much about parenthood. She may be a hybrid clone, but shes the compilation of our best selves, a perfect match. Cesera is carefree, and so observant and curious. She's seen us at our best, and saved us both when we were at our worst. I can't imagine our lives without her.
#2: Jayden
What we believed impossible became very possible. I'll never forget the look on your face when I broke the news of my pregnancy. The nine months carrying him were both wondrous and uncomfortable, but you got me through it every step of the way. Jayden's birth was frightening, with both mine and the baby's life on the line...but you and Shara saved us, your strength got us all through it. Caring for him has definitely been a learning experience for both of us, our first baby. I see how his mere smile lights up your eyes and puts such a smile on your face. He will be strong in the Force, like his daddy. I know as he grows, the bond he shares with you will only grow stronger.
#1: Your Rebirth
Through my own actions I thought I had lost you forever. I was so sure of it. Thank the maker...the Force decided to intervene...it freed you from your armored imprisonment...your pain...and restored you back to full health, and for that, I am forever grateful, and I thank the Force every day. I know our reunion started off a bit rocky and it drove us apart... but looking back on it I feel we actually needed it. We were being tested...our love was being tested...how much we could withstand. I thank our families for being a part of bringing us back together. They all gave us such a slap back to reality, one I know I desperately needed. I feel we have only grown stronger after the whole ordeal, and our love continues to grow so much more every day. If death couldn't truly separate us, nothing in this galaxy ever will.
So here's to today, to us, and our lives together, Si'hil tha'. Our journey continues on, our hearts beat as one. Happy Anniversary, my love. For today, and many more to come.
Cheers!
Your Si'hari tha'
